2008 MEETING TIMES AND PLACES
2008 MONDAY RECREATIONAL SKATES
The Monday Recreational Skates are casually-oriented skates. Everyone skates
at their own pace, and we stop periodically to allow everyone to catch up
and regroup. Afterward, we serve lemonade in the parking lot and usually
go out to eat somewhere.
2008 FRIDAY FITNESS SKATES
The Friday Fitness Skate is a faster-paced skate event designed to
provide more of a workout, instead of waiting for people to catch up.
The Friday Fitness Skate uses the Kenilworth/Cedar Lake/Midtown Greenway
trail system. This makes it easier to come to both the Friday Fitness
Skate and the Friday Night Skate in the same evening. It begins at the
parking lot used for the Lake Calhoun/Lake Harriet skate.
